Unique Natural Constipation Remedies

Remarkable natural constipation remedies for you

If you have a bowel movement fewer than three times in a week, you may be experiencing constipation.

During constipation, you may experience hard stool, or irregular bowel movement, abdominal pain, or any other related symptoms.

There are many good natural home remedies for constipation that can help you overcome your ailment.

However, there are some special ones that have done a lot for some people, and I want to share that with you here.

How to get rid of constipation

China grass (Agar –Agar) constipation remedies

China grass also known as agar-agar is an effective gentle laxative for relieving constipation.

Agar-Agar is a dried seaweed. Cut it into bits and cook in milk. Add some sugar and a little food flavor to give it taste.

It resembles gelatin after being cooked. Set it at room temperature and use it as a vegetarian pudding, or to thicken soups and jellies.

It also works well with children. You may be able to find China grass (agar-agar) in Chinese and Indian stores or online stores.

Onion shoots with oil or ghee

Cut a cupful of onion shoots in pieces, and fry them in a table spoon of oil or ghee and eat it with your food.

This remedy prevents food fermentation and rotting in the intestines, and eliminates waste matter easily.

Spinach for constipation relief

Spinach is beneficial for intestinal organs. It promotes intestinal movements.

Soak spinach in hot water for about 3 minutes, season it with sesame oil and eat at meal.

Constipation due to indigestion

Take a teaspoon of fresh lime juice with a teaspoon of fresh ginger juice.

Add a little rock salt, sugar and warm water and drink it for digestion and abdominal pain.

Alumina home remedy for constipation relief

Alumina is the number one homeopathic remedy for constipations.

Alumina will boost a soft stool that is painfully reluctant to pass through the colon. It will push it out.

Take the recommended dosage on container.

Silica for constipation treatment

Silica is also a homeopathic natural home remedy for constipation.

You will need Silica when the stool is ready to pass, but then retreats back into the rectum, leaving you with an uncomfortable sense of incompleteness.

Silica will solve that problem for you.

Take the dosage as recommended on label. Both homeopathic remedies can be found in natural health stores and online.

Terminalia Chebula for constipation remedies

This is an Asian herb that relieves bowel movement, abdominal pain, bloating and gas in the stomach.

There are various names for the herb such as Terminalia Chebula, Myrobalan, Hardad, Chebulic Myrobalan, Haritaki, Harada and Ink Nut.

It will be a lot easier to use the remedy described below, if you live in Asia, or unless you get access to the herb in Asian stores.

Soak terminalia chebula in water overnight to soften the rind.

Take ¼ teaspoon of it and add ½ teaspoon of dried coriander seeds and ¼ teaspoon of cardamom seeds to it.

Grind them together and have it 2 times in a day for treatment.

You can also use terminalia chebula supplements under the various names for treatment.

Follow the instructions on the label for the dosage. The supplements are available in heath stores and online.

Terminalia Chebula has senna-like laxative properties while cardamom and coriander seeds relieve indigestion and flutulence.

Terminalia chebula is highly regarded for its over-the-top healing abilities.

For very serious constipation problems, you might want to consult your doctor for treatment.

If you are on any medication, do not consider these constipation remedies unless authorized by your doctor.
