Fry 30g black fungus over low heat and add a bowl of water while it is still cooking. Add 15g sugar for seasoning and eat for heavy menstrual flow with hot flashes. Note: This remedy is not for heavy menstruation due to blood deficiency.
 
Special diets for heavy menstrual cycle
Lack of manganese in your food can trigger heavy menstrual flow. A project study in the US Department of Agriculture’s Human Nutrition Research Center, showed the value of manganese to menstruation.
Women placed on a reduced 1 mg of manganese diet a day, had their blood flow increased by 50 percent. It is therefore recommended that you eat manganese rich foods such as fruits (especially pineapple) and vegetables, whole grains and teas.
