Radish leaves

Boil ten dried radish leaves in 3 glasses of water and add a little bit of salt to it. Drink the soup twice a day for about 2 months to cure vaginal discharge.

Hyacinth beans as Yeast infection home remedy

Boil about 60g of hyacinth beans in water and add just a little sugar for taste. Drink as tea to relief whitish vaginal discharge.

Pau d’Arco tea

Drink a cup of Pau d’Arco tea a day for its strong antifungal properties, to relief yeast infection. It is an immunity boosting herb.

Tea tree and garlic oils - antifungal suppository

Create an anti-fungal suppository, and add 5 drops tea tree oil, garlic oil, and thuja oil, to a base cocoa butter and vitamin A.

Put the mixture in a vaginal suppository and insert one suppository into the vagina at night for seven days to treat vaginal yeast infection.

Lomatium roots for douche

Douching is unnecessary, but if you have to do it, use the remedy below.

Combine 2 tsp each of dried, chopped lomatium root and goldenseal root in 2 cups of hot water. Add 10 ml of vinegar to make vaginal douche.

Let the mixture cool, and douche with 1 cup of the solution in the morning and 1 cup before bedtime for treatment.

General recommendations

For yeast infection, you may wear cotton underwear and loose clothes to keep the area dry.

Yogurt is helpful. Put some yogurt onto a towel or sanitary pad and insert into private part or douche with yogurt and distilled water.

Avoid scented bath products at the first sign of vaginal yeast infection.

You may take oatmeal bath to relief irritation temporarily.

Wipe the anal area from front to back after urinating or having bowel movement to keep bacteria from being pushed into the vagina.

  Diabetes patients must control high glucose level which increase yeast infection.


Vitamins and supplements for yeast infection

Grape seed extract

Grape seed extract is a very potent antifungal that kills candida. Take the recommended dosage of 200 mg 2-3 times daily for 3 to 6 months.


Probiotic supplement contains the friendly bacteria that can help limit the growth of vaginal yeast.

Take probiotic product containing 4 billion active organisms 2 times daily, 30 minutes after a meal.

Use the supplement with (L. acidophilus, with B. bifidum) listed on the label.

Oregano oil as Yeast infection home remedy

Take 5 drops under the tongue or mix with a glass of water and drink for treatment.

  • Take 500 mg of garlic to fight fungus and boost immune system.


    For yeast infection symptoms such as irritation, and discharge which occur during mid-circle, take the required dosage of borax for relief.

    Diet- natural home remedies

    These foods will help to balance the flora in your gut, fight against toxins, and fungus. Follow the eating plan for about three months.

    Eat lots of fresh organic vegetables and proteins such as eggs, meat, and fish.

    Eat good quality yeast-free foods such as rye, oats, and fresh whole grain bread not stored in plastic bags.

    Eat plenty low fat yogurt which boosts friendly bacteria in the vagina.

    Foods to avoid

    Avoid sugar in all guises, such as fruit juices and dried fruits. Limit your intake of refined carbohydrate, such as white rice, white pasta, and white bread.

    Look out for fermented foods like soy, and malt. Avoid fungal foods such as, mushrooms, except shiitake mushrooms which is good for immunity.

    Put away the mouldy cheese such as soft cheese, blue cheese with rind, and hard cheese that has gone mouldy.

    Juices for yeast infection

    A strong tomatoes juice with a pinch of cayenne pepper can be used to treat vaginal yeast infection.

    Method of preparation

    Wash them off, and cut them into quarter sections and juice. You may season the juice with a pinch of cayenne pepper and few drops of lemon juice for flavor.

    Low-sodium V-8 juice works just as well. Use the juice for your yeast infection home remedy.


    Detox capsules

    As the candida fungus dries off, it produces toxins that may cause headaches nausea and fatigue. Detox capsules will absorb and expel the toxins.

    The recommended dosage is 3 capsules 30 minutes before breakfast, and 3 before bedtime, every day until the infection goes.

    Some vaginal infection symptoms may not be caused by yeast infection so seek your physician’s advice before using any yeast infection home remedy.
